Allie’s Helping Hands reaches out to care for siblings with a day of play
when a family is struggling with a life-threatening illness.
Who We Serve
When a child is diagnosed with a critical or life threatening condition, that child and the parents are immediately immersed in a whole new world of medical attention and resources.
What We Do
We offer a day of play for the siblings of children facing a critical health condition. It is hard to feel worried or sad when you’re playing.
Allie’s Helping Hands was inspired by Allison (Allie) McConnell Lock. During her twelve-year battle her sister Kristen became aware that there were few resources for siblings.
Do you have 2-5 hours/week to volunteer? Refer a family or donate to provide a day of fun.
